2014 was an incredible year for High Focus Records and 2015 looks set to be even bigger, kicking off the new year with Onoe Caponoe!

London based Onoe has been circling the space altitude for a while now, occasionally dropping the odd musical meteor in our direction.

Now, joining forces with one of the UK's finest producers, Chemo, Onoe is back full force with the release of Voices From Planet Cattele.

From the moment you press play, it's evident you're going to "that place". Chemo has the ability to take you there with his beats alone, but combine his instrumentals with Onoe's abstract mind and you have something rather unique, not often heard in the UK hip hop scene.

The album starts with a warped, eerie voice, baring witness to the creation of Planet Cattele (that place). Leading us into Space Bitches, the first single to be lifted off the album accompanied by a rather surreal video directed by Taztro Delix and Onoe himself....

As the album progresses, we delve further into the mind frame of Onoe. Whilst the rest of the world are focusing on the harsh realities of life, Onoe refuses to. He wants to escape, thus creating his own world. These realities are still present though, somewhere. They seep through yet are depicted in a way the closed mind can't quite fathom.

Personal favourites include Lord Of The Light which put me in an almost hypnotic state and Goth Bitches featuring veteran Jehst, doing what he does best!
