Besides is the debut release from electronic musician and composer, Keegan Warren.

Taking inspiration from the experimental jazz and soul genres, along with artists such as Horace Silver and Aphex Twin, Keegan has made Besides something very special.

Besides consists of 5 tracks, each unique in their own right. Luring us in with Spare The Rod, Keegan creates a tranquil scene. It's emotive and thought provoking. Almost as if you’re laying on a beach, immersing your feet in the water for the very first time, it comes in waves, an underwater sensation, if you will. The EP gets better as it progresses, taking nothing away from what was previously heard.

The 'Experimental' genre, is what it says on the tin, an experiment. Combining already refined techniques with thoughts and improvisations that are redeemed outside the box. Keegan seems to know the picture he is painting and he hopes we see it too

Besides is available now on most digital platforms. There were also a number of limited edition cassettes available through Brian Food Records, that sold out just 48 hours after release, that alone is testament to how great this project is.
