Now, it's my job to be up to date with new talent. I'm usually pretty on form, but occassionally a few gems slip through the net. Luckily, I have some great people willing to point me in the right direction.

The little gem that slipped through the net this time round, comes in the form of Miss. Bobbie Johnson. A multi-talented female artist. Yes, female!!

Do you know how happy it makes me to finally find a female I can relate to?!

It was actually Mr. Genesis Elijah who pointed me in Bobbies direction, having worked with her previously, he rates Bobbie highly and after looking into her that bit more, I can see why.

I'm one of those that are better with faces than names, so when I typed 'Bobbie Johnson' into the youtube search engine and her rappertag video came up, I immediately wanted to boot myself.

Last November, Bobbie released 'Lucidly Dreaming', 15 tracks displaying an array of styles. Labelled as dreamstep, I can see how that works.

Starting with the hauntingly beautiful 'Lullabies' this project is one to sit back and listen to. I can't say ill be blasting this one at the next house party, it deserves our full attention. 'Young Girl' choked me up.

Exactly a year after the release of 'Lucidly Dreaming' Bobbie has returned with 'The Circles EP' featuring producers Shaan Shina and Pastor Dutchie. When listening to Bobbie, you realise just how talented she is. Not only is she a harder rapper than half the guys I know, she sings and also produces some of her own tracks.

If legends like Genesis Elijah are already backing her, I suggest you guys up your game!
