Bristol based Twizzy has been giving us little clues over the last few months as to his whereabouts and he may of mentioned that he is working with some of the best in UK Hip-Hop. To be honest, the suspense has been killing me, until yesterday when 'Farmfoodz' arrived in my inbox!
Having been following Twizzy's work for a good few years now, be it with his team, Three Headed Beast or Solo, Twizzy never fails to impress.
'Farmfoodz' is a 14 track album that is solely produced by the legend that is Farma G. If you don't know who Farma G is, I really want to know what you have been doing with your lives. Farma G is brother of Chester P they paved the way for UK Hip Hop and collectively go under the name Task Force.
The first taste we've had of 'Farmfoodz' came in video form...

The album starts quite dramatically with 'Fresh Cut' a key heavy beat, and some rather humorous cuts. Twizzy is basically telling us he is here, introducing himself as such. It's quite obvious that he isn't mucking about on this project.
'Hear To Speak' is one of my favourites off the album, I got lost in the Mariachi strings lining the beat. Twizzy uses a bouncy flow that makes me wanna, well... bounce! Beat aside, Twizzy's lyrics are pretty spot on. "So why you watching me, I'm not watching you. I'm just here to say my piece, I don't know what else to do". His honest view on this struggle we call life, is a little heartbreaking, yet his determination and passion will get him where he wants to be,
I can feel it...he can taste it!
Twizzy can't release an album and not include his team members M.A.B and Jinxsta JX, that just wouldn’t be right. Fellow Three Headed Beast members accompany Twizzy a couple of times throughout the album. Other features come from Mr. Genesis Elijah and High Focus' Verb T. Even Farma steps up to the mic on tracks 'Oh Well' and
'Cold N Lonely'.

I'm gonna go as bold as saying Farmfoodz is Twizzys best work to date. Farma G's flawless production deserves to be credited just as much as Twizzy himself.
