It's Time is the latest installment of greatness brought to us by DJ Slademan featuring Reks, Phoenix Da Ice Fire, Iron Braydz and Ms. Cherokee on the vocals.

Looking at those names alone, you know it's gonna be a straight up banger!

I've personally been listening to Slademan for several years now. I think the first track I heard of his was 'Walk The Walk' with Omen D or it may have been

'3 Generations' where he teamed up with fellow Hip-Hop Producer & Vocalist, Chat One.

I have supported him ever since.

Slademan is someone of great talent. He's productive, dedicated and he just seems to know how to hit that musical g-spot!

Having been circling the scene for over a decade now, Slades name has been put about a bit, like the graffiti tag you see on random phone boxes, you recognise it! He has opened up for the likes of Semtex, Westwood, Klashnekoff, Jehst, Skinnyman, the list goes on and knowing Slades work rate, he's not going to be stopping any time soon!

When this track appeared in my inbox and I read the featuring artists, I couldn't help but smile. To me, Slade teaming up with Reks is a biiiiig look! I HAD to ask how he made this happen!

Having been a fan of Reks for years, he bit the bullet and contacted him. Reks was already familiar with Slades work and within a couple of weeks, a verse was laid down. Phoenix was next on his agenda being one of his favourite MC's in the UK and having worked with him previously. After that, things just seemed to fall into place nicely. Slade suggested Iron Braydz, part of the Triple Darkness crew of which, Phoenix is also a member and Phoenix thought of Cherokee and now we have 'It's Time'

From the minute you press play you hear the signature "It's Him" and the magic begins!

Phoenix boldly enters with that well, fire, followed by Reks with that flow that leaves you dumbfounded yet stink-facing the whole way through. Iron Braydz then wraps it up nicely (see what I did there). Every man goes in and Cherokees smooth, yet powerfully soulful vocals are just the icing on the cake!

This track is not just your average banger, It's a statement. These guys (and girl) are letting us know they're still here, they aren't going anywhere and indeed It's Time!
