The Clockwork L.P is 15 tracks of pure delectation brought to us by Cutta Chase and
Daryl Donald.
Released on September 15th 2014, I was slightly delayed in hearing this project and it kind of upset me after hearing how brilliant it is.
For those of you that aren't aware, Mr. Chase has been on the scene for a number of years now. With several releases under his belt such as Stick Hits, Tonguestrung, the follow up mixtape Wisdom Teeth and more recently a feature on Fliptrix's Nebula Funk, this guys work rate is something to be admired.

Cutta Chase, to me, has impeccable taste when it comes to instrumental/beat choices, so it seems right he teamed up with Daryl Donald for this project.
Daryl Donald is a self-proclaimed music geek, based in Edinburgh. At just 21 years of age, this guy is too much. His ability to evoke powerful emotions and paint such a vivid picture through music, is something very special. When listening to 'Kept' I sat there zoning out with a smile on my face thinking, yeaaaaaaah!!

The L.P starts off with Numbchuck where Chase shows us his lyrical ability and it's rightly titled as his skill is hard hitting. It then leads into Mysticism followed by my personal favourite, Man Made Imagination. Both of which are accompanied by some beautiful visuals.

I often found myself getting right into a track and going off into my own little world. I would familiarise it with Jazz Lounge, upon reading that comment some may think "Uh, elevator music" but that is definitely not what I mean. Although the L.P is 14 tracks long, I simply wanted more.
Greedy of me maybe, but hopefully many feel the same way and these two guys team up again in the future to satisfy our needs!
