'Made Up My Mind' by Broken Poetz, is the first release off the album Soul Searching, due to drop later this year.

Broken Poetz are D.Know & Mystero, two guys that share one love, music! Coming from Hampshire in the South of England, these two likely lads formed in 2012 and have been pushing themselves ever since. Opting for the more easy listening, soulful style of hip-hop these two guys are definitely unique to the scene (which seems to be losing it's way) with their positive lyrics and outlook on this messed up world we live in today.

Their debut release 'The Pen, The Pad & The Things We Had' showcases just what these guys are capable of. Although the lyrics are heartfelt and emotional, they are nothing but honest. You may read that and think 'Depressing' but it's far from, their choice of funky, bluesy beats are soul lifting.

Their follow up EP 'The Self Fulfilling Prophecies' is more down-tempo, but shows their versatility. Again, the beat choices are just perfect, my heart sank a little listening to 'It Will Help You'

That leads us very nicely into their latest release 'Made Up My Mind' taken from the soon to drop album 'Soul Searching' Producing the single is Runone & Molotov, best known for their epic production on

The single was released in June along with a video directed by Sektion Red.

The album is set to feature some big collaborations, giving prominence to some of the scenes favourite artists. If 'Made Up My Mind' is anything to go by,

Soul Searching is going to be a straight up banger and I for one can't wait!
