'Medicated Dreams' is the latest release from High Focus Records.
The self produced EP comes from the one and only Verb T and when this appeared in my inbox, I was geekily happy.
Verb T has been around a bit, I don't mean in a promiscious way, I mean he has had his fingers in many pies over the last 15 years and is still progressing every single day.
Recently though, Verb ain't been feeling too good, he has been prescribed meds and
He has used this EP to let us into his head, with 9 incredibly honest tracks.
'Isn't Clear'
Understanding Verbs entire concept here, having expericed his exact mind set, I have fallen in love with this EP instantly.
I think as an artist, may that be a rapper, singer, composer or bloody Picasso, it's hard to let someone into your life whilst trying to portray what you are trying to say, well.
Verb T doesn't fail at all!
As I said previously, This EP is souly produced by Verb himself. The only feature comes from Moreone on the hauntingly sombre 'Dreaming Of A Life'.
The production throughout is impeccable, diverse yet beautifully emotive beats compliment the sincere, hard hitting lyrics.
Don't worry though, Mr. T hasn't gone too serious on us, the jocose little snippets that have become somewhat signature to his tracks are still present.
'Medicated Dreams' is an EP not to be missed, so go add it to your wishlist!
